Marshwood, the oldest and most beautiful parts of the community, features The Landings Club's Marshwood Clubhouse which serves two professionally designed golf courses: Marshwood and Magnolia. The Oakridge section has the Landings club's fitness center and golf shop where members of The Landings Club can buy apparel and golf equipment. This area is the newest phase of the neighborhood while Deercreek's club facilities are the newest.
History of The Landings
The Landings is a residential community with over four thousand homeowners located eleven miles south of Savannah, Georiga on Skidaway Island. Originally created more than thirty years ago by Union Camp's Branigar Company, the community was designed for retirees wanting a luxurious golf, tennis, and boating community. Throughout the years, the island has become a home for more than eight thousand people, the majority of which are retirees.
